KEY STRENGTHS
High yield potential with great roots. Early flower leads to fast drydown. Handles variable soils and responds very well to intensive management.

WEAKNESSES
Weak on Goss’s Wilt. Do not spray dicamba late. Keep planting populations high to push for yield.

POSITIONING
Very strong performer for its maturity. Likes higher populations for the area and good fertility to really shine. Excellent late season plant health leads to fast drydown and top yields.

AGRONOMIC & DISEASE RATINGS

H2802 Agronomic Chart

The higher the number, the better the performance or rating.

We tried some Hefty 2802 this year, it performed better than almost anything else we had on the farm. Great early corn hybrid.

Scott, Pembina County, North Dakota

Hefty 2802 looks good and stood up better than my Pioneer during a bad wind storm. The Hefty cobs are bigger as well.

Lee, Lakota, North Dakota

Hefty 2802 was very fast out of the ground.

James, North Dakota

I’m impressed with the way  Hefty Complete worked and how the corn (Hefty 2802) emerged in places where I’ve had trouble growing corn before.

Gene, North Dakota

I was very happy with my Hefty yields across the farm this year. I was extremely happy with the Hefty 2802 as it surpassed our usual yield goal on a tough quarter by 50 bushels on ground that dries out!

Richard, North Dakota

I am happy with this product (Hefty 2802).

Mark, Central North Dakota

Emergence was key this year, and our Hefty H2802 was top notch. It never looked back and we had the yield to prove it.

Steve, North Dakota
