Conditioning Operators work closely with the Conditioning Supervisor and Site Manager to ensure that all conditioning runs meet Hefty Seed quality requirements, while also attempting to maximize the total number of units bagged from each run. Responsibilities include:

• Performing work activities safely and in compliance with company safety program.
• Operating seed conditioning and packaging equipment according to instructions
• Performing QA checks and documenting results accurately
• Thoroughly cleaning all equipment between conditioning runs to maintain product integrity
• Application of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages
• Knowledgeable on operation of seed treating equipment.
• Accurately mixing seed treatment chemicals to ensure proper seed coverage.
• Lifting and stacking materials up to 68 lbs. for extended periods of time.
• Safely climb stairs and/or ladders to monitor and adjust equipment
• Assisting with maintenance activities
