KEY STRENGTHS
National line with high yield potential and aggressive early vigor and growth! Strong Goss’s wilt tolerance and overall defensive package. Good stalks and roots with nice staygreen in the fall.
WEAKNESSES
Requires fungicide protection for gray leaf spot and tar spot.
POSITIONING
Position this hybrid on your average to better ground and fertilize well. This is a plant-first hybrid with very strong early vigor and a good overall disease package. The plant structure can tolerate higher plant populations if needed. If gray leaf spot is a concern, starting with Xyway at planting or using a foliar fungicide with Nutex EDA around tasseling is recommended. Responds very well to PGRs like Amass just prior to the reproductive growth stages.

Hefty Corn 3902 and 3712 have been excellent!
Hefty 3902 was a good silage corn.
My Hefty 3902 yields like crazy on my farm and stands extremely well.
My Hefty 3902 and 3712 were some of the highest test weights/dry down around not to mention the yield that was on top for any acre.
