KEY STRENGTHS
Moderate-statured plant with excellent yield potential! Great agronomics with strong roots and stalks. Nice fall appearance and staygreen. Handles Goss’s and tar spot well. Good drought tolerance allows a fit even on the tougher acres.
WEAKNESSES
Below-average tolerance to southern rust.
POSITIONING
This is a “place-it-everywhere” hybrid that has great agronomics and toughness. Keep this one in its normal maturity zone or bring it further north as it has good drydown. It can handle the continuous corn acre as it has good tolerance to Goss’s, tar spot, and stalk anthracnose. Test weight is average with this hybrid but can be enhanced by higher soil levels of potassium and zinc, as well as late-season sulfur and boron availability.
