PREPAYING IN APRIL WILL SAVE YOU MONEY VERSUS BUYING YOUR PRODUCTS IN-SEASON!

HERE ARE A FEW THINGS TO CONSIDER WITH THIS:

IF YOU DON’T HAVE CASH, YOU CAN STILL PREPAY. There are cheap finance offers out there from FMC, Valent, BASF, Bayer, Syngenta, and others if you buy their products. At Hefty’s, we also have financing through John Deere Financial, Rabo AgriFinance, and AgraLend (Farm Credit Services).

THIS YEAR COULD BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN NORMAL TO PREPAY, SINCE HIGHER TARIFFS ARE NOW BEING APPLIED TO AG CHEMICALS IMPORTED FROM CHINA. Since roughly 70% of all ag chem in the U.S. comes from China, this could mean higher prices this summer, more than just the normal 1% per month (12% APR) increase.

SUPPLIES OF MOST AG PRODUCTS TODAY ARE GOOD. However, there will likely be a few things that run short this summer, just like normal. By prepaying and locking in now, you will get your first choice on most anything you want.

REBATES

Are you taking full advantage of all of this year’s rebate programs that can cut your costs? For example…

4 HYBRIDS, MORE DOLLARS. When you purchase Hefty Brand Corn, it’s not all about volume like it is with most other seed companies. We want you to plant multiple hybrids to spread your risk. You can earn up to $25 per unit back the more hybrids you buy (minimum 45 units per hybrid)!
HEFTY’S 3, 4, 5 REBATE. Earn up to $3 per acre in each of 4 categories when you purchase at least 500 acres of seed (Hefty or Zinesto Soybeans or Corn).

- FMC FOLIAR FUNGICIDES SUCH AS ADASTRIO, LUCENTO, AND TOPGUARD EQ

BAYER PLUS. Similar to last year, you can get $2 to $5 per acre back on most Bayer products ($1 per acre on Roundup PowerMAX 3), as well as $0.50 to $2 per acre on many other items.
TRUCHOICE. As long as you funded your Corteva TruChoice account with at least $5000 net by February 21, you can earn 10% back on most Corteva crop protection products.
