Key Strengths
· Powerful new hybrid at 82-day! Girthy flex ear with deep kernels. Strong roots and stalks. Excellent drydown.
Weaknesses
· Average rating on Goss’s Wilt.
Positioning
· Strong candidate for your average to better ground with very good top-end yield potential. Flexes well for girth and responds to planting-time or strip-till fertility applications. Best fit is on rotated ground to avoid high-risk Goss’s acres. Responds well to beneficial microbial applications, especially products like Alpha Complete or Nutri-Shield that help root growth and early season nutrient acquisition.
Agronomic & Disease Ratings

Hefty Brand Corn 3122 was priced aggressively and was the maturity I was looking for. The corn was quick out of the ground.
The seed quality is excellent!
I’ve planted Hefty Corn for the last four years and I’ll continue to plant it every year. I’ve been happy with its price and performance.
I love the planting ability of this seed (Hefty 3122) and the great emergence in lighter soil.
I like how Hefty Corn pops out of the ground, usually 2-3 days sooner than the other hybrids on my farm.
