KEY STRENGTHS
This is one tough hybrid! Great fit for all soil types and management systems. First one out of the ground. Handles drought very well. Fast drydown. Consistently good performance.

WEAKNESSES
Average test weight. Good but not great Goss’s wilt tolerance.

POSITIONING
This hybrid can literally go anywhere you want to plant corn and do well. I’d be cautious of the very high Goss’s pressure fields just to be on the safe side. H5044 responds very well to in-furrow microbial products (like Alpha Complete), insecticide, and fertility.
